So, we made it. That first batch of "El Jefe"—a fiery blend of garlic and habanero—was an instant hit, named after the friend who was there when inspiration struck. It became a kitchen staple and a favorite gift. Before long, we knew we had to share it. And just like that, Steamboat Salt Company was born.
