El Jefe Lobster Mac & Cheese
4 tbl butter
2 tbl flour
2 cups milk
1 lb uncooked pasta (elbow, corkscrew, etc.)
2 tsp EL JEFE Garlic Habanero craft salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 smoked paprika
1/4 black pepper
4 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
2 cups cooked lobster meat
1/2 buttered bread crumb
2 tbl chopped green onion/chives
Preheat oven to 375.
Coat a baking dish with oil or nonstick spray.
Cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside.
Melt 2 tbl butter, add flour to make a roux.
Pour in milk and whisk until blended and smooth.
Stir in cooked pasta, EL JEFE Garlic Habanero craft salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, bring to a simmer, careful not to burn the mixture.
Cut the heat, mix in the cheeses, stir until smooth.
Fold in the lobster meat and green onion/chive, mix well.
Pour mixture into baking dish, top with buttered breadcrumbs.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until top is brown and mixture is bubbling.
Let sit for a couple minutes and then dig in!
