Honey Bourbon Glazed Salmon
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbl lemon juice
1 tsp red pepper flakes
3 tbl olive oil
4 salmon fillets
2 tsp Bourbon craft salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
Mix together honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, Bourbon craft salt, and red pepper flakes.
Turn on broiler.
In a large skillet (I prefer cast iron) heat two tablespoons oil over medium heat.
Add salmon skin-side Down and season with Bourbon craft salt and pepper.
Cook salmon until deeply golden, about 6 minutes.
Baste salmon with the honey Bourbon mixture and sliced lemons.
Place pan under the broiler for approximately 6-8 minutes or until salmon is flakey and glazed.
Remove pan from heat and let sit 2-3 minutes to allow the glaze to work its magic.
