Honey Lavender Salty Dog

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Gin (or vodka if you want a Salty Greyhound)

3 oz grapefruit juice

1/2 oz lavender simple syrup (recipe below)

2 tbl Honey Lavender craft salt

Lavender Simple Syrup:

1 cup water

3 tbl lavender flowers

2 cup granulated sugar

Directions:

For Lavender Simple Syrup "simply" bring water and lavender to a boil, reduce heat to low and add lavender flowers.

Simmer 15 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and steep (allow to sit) for about an hour for maximum flavor.

Strain mixture and keep sealed in a glass bottle or jar for future cocktails!

For Honey Lavender Salty Dog mix gin, grapefruit juice, simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Shake gently.

Rim glass with simple syrup and Honey Lavender craft salt.

Fill glass with ice, pour shaker mixture over ice.
